Langtang Trek with Yala Peak 5500 m!

    Neil T, May 25, 2024

Me and my husband did a 14-day Yala peak last spring in Nepal with Footprint Adventure. From day 1, Ganesh welcomed us with local garland at the airport. The next day, we had an awesome UNESCO Heritage site tour in Kathmandu with Guide Prakash. He is very knowledgeable about the sites. Then, we went to the cultural dinner. The next day, our guide Laxman came to pick us up at the hotel and we drove to Syabrubesi village. It's a hectic drive but we enjoyed it.

From the day until we make it to the top of the Yala Peak, our guide makes sure that we are safe, acclimatized, and healthy. He served us daily meals, refilled our bottles with water filters, and served fresh fruits during the dinner. Our climbing guide was excellent and had climbed Everest 3 times. He made sure we made it to the top and down safely to the Kyanjin village. The trail is up and down and hard sometimes to walk but we enjoyed everything here in Nepal. Thank you Footprint Adventure for this amazing adventure. We'll come to Island Peak with EBC next time.

Best time at EBC with Ashish

    Lot S, May 22, 2024

I had the best time on my trek with Footprint! They truly care about you and will make any necessary changes to ensure your trip meets your needs. My trek was with Ashish, who was more than just a guide he was a fantastic companion. He explained a lot about the area, took some amazing photos, and even surprised me with sound healing meditation and a massage. When I got sick, he took great care of me. If you're considering a trip to Nepal, don't hesitate to contact them. You won't regret it!

    Everest Base Camp trek

    GoldenGraemePrentice, May 17, 2024

Two week trek through the Himalayas from Kathmandu to Everest and back. Great package which includes 3 nights stay in Thamel pre or post trek depending on flights to Lukla. The company personnel Sharan and Ganesh are so attentive and will do everything to make your stay the best possible experience. They have various guides, Shanti is amazing, she goes beyond what you would expect from a guide including photo taking and is so informative. She always smiles and was a joy to trek with. I was well looked after during the trek and the porters who work for the company are an asset. Suresh and Suman are workhorses and never stop smiling. If you want to meet people and trek in a larger group make sure you make this clear from the get go. This was the only downfall of our trek. We asked for a trek with other people from around the world however it just ended up being me my friend and another customer. This was fed back to the company and taken on board.

    Book This Trip

    Tyler S, May 09, 2024

We just returned from our Basecamp Trek (April 20th-May 3rd)
A 10/10 experience, and absolute must-go recommendation for anybody considering the Base Camp Everest Trek. Be sure to book with Footprint Adventure, as they handle any and all logistics surrounding the trip. As soon as we landed in Kathmandu and our guide picked us up at 2 am from the airport, we knew we were in good hands. Footprint took care of everything- hotel bookings, meals, teahouse arrangements, visa payments, and were very knowledgeable and able to answer any of our questions during the two week adventure.

Be sure to request Ganesh as a guide. He is utterly hilarious, personable, and made our group feel safe and secure during our exploration of unfamiliar territory. He and our porter, Onish deserve raises. We were able to tour Kathmandu with them after our journey and loved the overall experience so much that we plan on returning for a different trek in the future.

If you are hesitating on pulling the trigger, do yourself a favor and book this journey. Make the sacrifices needed during your regular work weeks to fit this into your schedule this year. You will thank yourself later.
