This is the standard itinerary for Kathmandu, Chitwan, and Pokhara tours. If you are looking for a customized itinerary and requirements, please contact us for the details. 

You will be met by Footprint Adventure Treks and Expedition’s representative at Airport and transferred to the hotel. In the remaining time, you can explore around the Thamel Bazaar and shopping for trekking. A pre-tour briefing will be given in the evening by the company representative and you will be introduced to your tour guide. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, your city excursion activity will start. We will have a private vehicle and a professional tour guide for our sightseeing tour. We will visit the following sites.
Swyambunath Stupa: You can watch over the valley from the top of a hillock on its western side. Swyambhu is also known as Samhengu and the Monkey temple because of the countless monkeys living on the premises. People often called it a monkey temple. 
Pashupatinath Temple: Pashupatinath Temple is one of the holiest Hindu temples of Nepal. It is located on the banks of the Bagmati River on the eastern outskirts of Kathmandu. Pashupatinath is the most important temple dedicated to the god Shiva.
Boudhanath Stupa: Boudhanath Stupa is 2500 years old Buddhist stupa in the Valley built in the 5th century with four pairs of eyes of Lord Buddha in four cardinal directions keeping an eternal watch over the people and their doings. You will find Buddhist pilgrims from Tibet going round the stupa spinning the prayer wheels.
Patan Durbar Square: Patan Durbar Square - located in central city Lalitpur. It displays the Newari architecture that had reached its pinnacle during the reign of Malla kings who were great builders and patrons of the arts. Overnight in Kathmandu.

We take Prithvi Highway to reach beautiful Chitwan by private vehicle or tourist bus. It takes about six-seven hours to reach Sauraha, Chitwan via Road. You will pass the highway lifestyle of Nepal, traditional village settlements, terrace land, lush green forest, and bi rivers like Trishuli, Narayani before reaching Chitwan. After reaching Sauraha, we will participate in Tharu cultural performance with traditional Nepali cuisine in a romantic candlelight dinner. Overnight stay in Sauraha, Chitwan.

Today, after a delicious breakfast on the bank of the Rapti river with warm rays of first sunlight, you'll be taken for the Jungle activities. Basically, you'll go inside the Chitwan National Park. In the beginning, you'll ride in a Jeep to explore the forest and wildlife. During the Jungle safari, you will go deep into the forest and get to see wildlife like one-horned Rhino, Bengal tiger, Deer, Wild Boar, Pheasants, peacocks, and many more exotic wildlife.  

Likewise, you may also get to see exotic birds. Later, you will be part of the elephant bathing. If you want to be more adventurous, then go canoeing. Visit crocodile and elephant breeding centers.

Before leaving for Pokhara city, you can go bird-watching nearby your hotel. It will be a peaceful walk in the jungle, bank of the Rapti river, and terraced field. Later, have breakfast and get ready to drive to Pokhara City. The drive will be pleasant and scenic. You will experience the scenic views of beautiful landscapes, lush green forest, and driving alongside the bank of the Marsyangdi River. The rolling green hill one after another with terraced fields and a rushing river will keep your company throughout the drive. Spend the evening exploring Lakeside Market.

**Pokhara Road Update**

Due to ongoing road construction, travel time between Kathmandu and Pokhara has increased from 6-7 hours to around 8-9 hours, with added congestion and pollution. Alternatively, a 30-minute flight is available for USD 130 one way.

Skipping breakfast and you'll head to the Sarangkot Viewpoint for the morning sunrise view on snowy peaks of the Annapurna Himalayas range. This place is also popular for Paragliding as you can see the stunning views of mountains, beautiful Pokhara city, and pristine Phewa lake. Then you'll come back to the lakeside and after breakfast, we will visit other places like Davis Falls, Bat Cave, Gupteshwor Cave, International Mountain Musiumetc. Likewise, there are many attractive lakes situated around Pokhara, where you can visit. In the evening, witness sunset at Phewa Lake and end the day with a delicious dinner.

Now that your tour is almost complete, you’ll return from Pokhara to Kathmandu by private vehicle. If you are tired of a long drive journey, then you have the option of flying to Kathmandu at an extra cost.

The cost for Pokhara to Kathmandu is USD 100.00 per person for one way flight. The choice is yours. Nevertheless, it would incur an additional fee. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Kathmandu 

The Capital city is the first destination of Kathmandu, Pokhara & Chitwan Tour where you'll get the highlights of ancient art and architecture, culture, and crafts in Patan Durbar Square. Swyambhunath Stupa and Boudhanath Stupas provide a glimpse of Buddhist culture, the practice along the giant structure of stupas and monasteries. The holy Hindu Temple, Pashupatinath is the other best thing to explore in Kathmandu. 

Chitwan 

A place for the home of the many exotic and rare wildlife along with the Tharu community and their culture. Yes, the Chitwan district offers the chances of an encounter with Bengal Tiger, one-horned Rhino, Elephant, and many more. Also, the dense forest, high nature, lakes, and hundreds of birds and other wild animals are the major attractions of Chitwan National Parks. We normally provide the three-star standard hotel for your entire tour. The hotel offers a deluxe room with nice amenities, facilities along with a delicious breakfast set in the morning. The accommodations for Kathmandu, Chitwan, and Pokhara are based on two single-bed sharing bases. The room will be clean, Hygienic, and prime location from the center point of all the cities. Besides this, if you want to experience the luxury accommodations for the entire trip, you've to compensate for the required amount. In such a case, please let us know before if you have any plans and requirements based on your choice. We will be happy to manage your trips according to your choice also. 

Best Season for Kathmandu, Chitwan & Pokhara Tour 

Normally, you can come and explore anytime in Nepal around the year. But, for the scenery-wise and open mountain views along with the active phase of nature, you can choose either Spring ( April to June) or Autumn ( September to November). The spring and autumn season is the best time to travel to Nepal for any kind of activity. The weather looks sunny and warm with a mesmerizing view of mountains, landscapes, and valleys. Nature is also much more active in a given season as compared to another season in Nepal. But, if you want to avoid the crowds and want to spend the time alone in a vibrant environment, the winter and monsoon seasons would be the best for you. 

Transportation Facility in Kathmandu, Chitwan & Pokhara Tour 

In our package, we provide private vehicles to transfer you to different places. This is a comfortable and easy way to complete this tour. But, if you don't want to drive a long way to Chitwan and Pokhara, you have an option for domestic air transfer. If you want to travel to these places from Kathmandu by airways, let us know before you come to Nepal. The cost of the trip will be increased.
