Ganesh Himal trekking is  newly opened trekking trails, located in the north-central Nepal bordering with Tibet, approximately 170 km north-west of Kathmandu valley. Ganesh Himal (7,422 m) is one of the popular trekking peaks above 7,000 meter, located in between Langtang and Annapurna Himalayan range. The name Ganesh Himal comes from a Hindu deity Ganesh, usually depicted in the form of an elephant, as because, fourth of the fifth peaks of Ganesh Himal (Ganesh IV) resembles an elephant. During the trek, you will have panoramic views of Ganesh Himal I (7,429 m), Ganesh Himal II (7,118 m), Ganesh Himal III (7,110 m), Ganesh Himal IV (7,052 m), Ganesh Himal V (6,986 m), besides these you will also have stunning views of other majestic Himalayas like Langtang Lirung (7,300 m), Mt. Manaslu (8,163 m), Lamjung Himal (6,800 m), you will equally have views of Mt. Annapurna I (8,091 m) even if that is from far distance and wide range of other Himalayas that your eyes can catch. High Altitute Sickness-
Ganesh Himal Trekking  would be life time memory in your life. If you are not fit we will not recommend to do this trekking. While you are going toward the high place, you may have high altitude problem so  you  drink lot of liquid, Ginger soup  good for high altitude, we will recommend diamox medicine for high altitude. If you have other serious problem you have to admit the hospital soon in this case you call the helicopter for rescue and our staff will help to you for your treatment. If you haven medical insurance the rescue helicopter payment will be cover by the insurance company so medical insurance is necessary to go this trekking.


Trekking Grade -
Ganesh Himal Trekking is pretty long trek that goes right into high mountain country so, it is physically quite strenuous which involves approx 5-6 hours trekking along the way. There is no previous experience is required, used to some regular exercise and enjoy walking in the high altitude conditions.


Weather-
The Ganesh Himal Trekking  best season  start  from mid September till November end and from the beginning of March until end of May. The morning time  usually clear, with clouds building up during the afternoon, & disappearing at night. Trekking during the monsoon and winter is also possible.


Food-
We will provide freshly cooked food from the local guest house or restaurant. You will have breakfast and dinner at the lodge and lunch available along the trail. You can find a wide variety of Nepali and Western food as well as drinks.

Transportation-
Ganesh Himal Trekking start your transfort from your Kathmandu airport  to  Hotel then Kathmandu Hotel to Betrawati and  Aarughat to kathmandu  by jeep or by public bus.

Telephone and Internet-
There is few places available for Telephone and Internet. You can get internet password from the hotel counter for telephone and internet cost would be extra.

Electricity-
Most of the lodges/ guest house take an additional charge for battery charging. There is no electricity in the Langtang Region. There is electricity or solar power where you can re- charges your camera batteries,laptop, mobile etc. that cost you need to pay extra.

Drinking Water-
The bottle water is available along the trail until the last village. You can take buy boil water from the lodge or restaurant or you can use Iodine or water purifying medicines.

Luggage -
In Kathmandu you will get 4 to 5 star  standard Hotel or resort accommodation. During the trekking part,  rooms will be basic, normally just a bed with a pillow and blankets. You will have a private room but bathroom will be outside. There are some guest houses with attach bathroom as well as but they will cost extra.

Group Leader and Crew-
We promise we will provide Trained Experienced with honest with local Trekking Guide  and Sherpa staff when there are 8 or more members in the Group and porters to carry your luggage and there will be 1 porter for 2 members.

Trekking Equipments-
It's not necessary to spend a lot of money for extra equipment and clothing before your trip. Majority of these gears can be bought at reasonable rates in Kathmandu.

Trekkking Days-
The time schedule is very important for enjoy trip with among the Guide porters and trekkers Each morning after packing our bags and hot breakfast, we set off on the day’s walk. After walking for 3-4 hours we stop for lunch at around midday. The afternoon’s walk .  The remainder of the afternoon can be spent exploring the village, doing a bit of washing or simply relaxing with a good book. On some days we will arrive at our destination by lunchtime and the entire afternoon will be free.
