Latest Trip Review

We had an incredible time on this trek! From getting us picked up at the airport to dropping us back off after the trek, every piece of the trip was well-executed and handled really well. Sharan was very informative and so helpful with all of our questions. We felt well-prepared and well-advised on packing before we arrived, and then were able to knock out any last minute items we forgot in Kathmandu. Our guides, Khila and Sukar, were absolutely incredible. They took great care of us, knew what questions to ask to make sure we were healthy and safe, and sprung into quick action if anyone wasn't feeling well. I can't say enough positive things about the experience. In our research on tea houses along the route, none were as nice as those secured by Footprint. Our porters were so sweet, and when Sukar had to accompany one of our group back down the mountain (altitude sickness), one of them even stepped up as a second guide for us, making sure we all could move at the speed we were most comfortable. THANK YOU foot print, we really loved this trip and you all made it perfect.

The team at footprints from the outset were responsive, knowledgeable and informed. They tailored our trip to suit our needs and nothing was too much trouble.
The airport pick up, the tour of some of the Kathmandu sites and the welcome dinner were a fantastic introduction to Nepal.
The actual EBC trip was expertly guided by Laxman, whose knowledge, local experience and evident passion for the mountains made even the toughest of days a joy.

Moderately difficult trek, I will say

We walked for 3 days from base camp for 7-9 hrs everyday, chilling all along the trail enjoying the scenic landscape and diverse flora and fauna en route and finally we reached this beautiful view point which was majestic and it was -1 to -2 degree centigrade. Enjoyed the stunning view of the magnificent Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Hiuchuli and neighbouring peaks.

We went for this trek with "Foot print Adventure", a very well organized group. I must say we had one of the best experience, as trip was quite well organized and especially because of Miss Salona Dhungana who is bubbly, full of life & a great trip leader and Mr khil our guide a very calm and balanced personality, they made everything so effortless. We also had two porter Mr Sagar and Mr Vasu were very caring and was jumping with heavy loads on such a difficult trail, faster than us. I must say Thank you so much 💓 foot print Adventure team.

So yeah , WE DID IT!!

Went for the Himal Mardi trek between 23/3/24 to 28/3/24 which was organised by Footprint adventure. Our organiser Mr Adhikari, Mr Saran & Ms Salona did a remarkable job. Our guide Mr Khilanath was extremely considerate and compassionate person.
The trek was through the beautiful Rhododendrons and green forest. The route though moderately tough was made to feel easy with the well planned breaks en route and rest / sleep in the chosen Tea houses. Every need was taken care off. Advice and instructions were given well in advance and appropriately. Morale through all stages were boosted up and the feeling from beginning to the end was exhilarating.
Looking forward to more such treks with them. Thank you Footprint adventures and thank you Salona & Khilanath for this amazing experience and life long memory.

I love love footprints adventure and their team . I love their attention to detail. I love how hospitable and caring they have been throughout the trip. The guides won’t leave your side irrespective of how fast or slow you are. The food, the stay and all the travel despite of all the flights being cancelled , has been taken care professionally and on point. Each one of the staff from sharan to Madhav to Shalona who was our guide , all of them delivered exceptionally. I was recommended Mardi trip based on my availability and they customised the plan so well and made sure we had the best stays and views too. I’m definitely going back to Nepal for more trips next year through them. My friends and I had a great time on our hike through them .

It was a fantastic experience. I went solo in the trip and the process was absolutely smooth. The guide knew everything and took care of my itinerary, comfortability and health as well. 100 percent recommended by me and I know whoever has booked a trip with them would share my views.

Everything was arranged with due care and communication. Starting at the pick-up, intake and they never missed a beat. The stays on the trek came as advertised and the guide was well known among the owners which made the stays just that little more comfortable.
The care for my wellbeing was always top priority and only after experiencing my level did we take it up a notch. I felt safe and sound every step of the trek.
We took time to play games and exchange life’s stories after the walks and I will forever nurture those moments.
The worst part about this trek and company was and will forever be that I had to leave them behind. I have never, ever, felt so much at peace and home as I did during those (almost) three weeks in those majestic mountains.

True spirits never fail to lead. Saying that, I’d like to thank Salona and Khil Dai, our travel companions for handling each day with their impeccable service. They made sure each individual was taken care of. Leading me to an adventure of a lifetime, I thoroughly enjoyed the good, the difficult and the feeling of accomplishment of the first step in our final destination of Mardi Trek. Likewise, Footprint Adventure was very organised from the moment of my interaction about the trip. Sharan was very prompt with following up the minute details. Being a newbie to the trekking experience, I must say I did myself proud, but wouldn’t have been possible without our tour companions supporting me throughout. It was a privilege. It was heaven of an experience and I would recommend everyone and anyone with/without experience to go for amazing Footprint Adventure. Sure does leave an imprint in your heart and soul.
