Our Kilimanjaro trip with Footprint Adventure was truly one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. We completed the 7-day Machame Route, and everything from start to finish was exceptionally well organized.

The trip was booked through Madhav, and from the moment we landed, we felt completely taken care of. Jerome, our airport pickup guide, was very friendly and professional, setting the tone for what would become an incredible journey.

A special thanks to our amazing guides, August and Primi—both were extremely professional, humble, and supportive. They consistently ensured our safety, health, and morale throughout the climb. Honestly, without their guidance, encouragement, and expertise, we would not have been able to summit Mount Kilimanjaro.

The entire Footprint team—guides, porters, and staff were absolutely awesome. We had a team of 11 people, and although we started as climbers with guides and porters, by the end of the 7 days, we truly felt like one family.

One of the most touching moments of the trip was on my 40th birthday. The team went above and beyond to celebrate it. They surprised me with a cake, candles, and sang a beautiful birthday song at altitude. It was incredibly emotional and something I will cherish forever.

This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, deeply humbling and unforgettable. I am forever grateful to the entire Footprint Adventure team for making this journey so special.

I don’t know where to start with this review other than to say thank you so much to the Footprint team (and my AMAZING guide Shanti) for the most memorable time hiking the EBC. They took care of everything for me and I never felt unsafe or worried. From the pickup to the airport, to the welcome dinner, the hike, and then the airport drop off after, everything was wonderful. I chose Footprint because they originally followed me on Instagram and were engaging with my posts, offered the hike at a fair price, and had great communication. But I ended up getting so much more out of it….lifelong friends. Shanti, my female guide, is a gem. You’re missing out if you don’t request her as a guide. I wanted a lot of photos, to go at my own pace (I chose a solo trek), and to have someone who had a sense of humor…. and she truly delivered. She’s the selfie/photo queen. She made sure I was ok every step of the way. The “boys” as I call them, of Footprint are amazing as well. I even got the chance to do an interview after the hike. Their videographer was so much fun and such a nice guy. And I kept Ganesh on his toes with all my jokes and sense of humor. I highly recommend Footprint Adventures. We are so grateful for the guidance and support of Laxman & Suresh with Footprint Adventures; they made sure every day had a comfortable and safe atmosphere! Laxman was the best for maintaining a calm, professional demeanor; he did a spectacular job of keeping us present, focusing on each day while also properly preparing us for the next. Now, we have two new Nepalese friends and incredible memories of overcoming tough mental & physical challenges to reach Everest Base Camp!
From start to finish, Footprint took care of our airport transit to a wonderful hotel, welcome dinner, provided a great tour of city attractions in Kathmandu, flights to & from Lukla, 12 days of trekking through gorgeous landscapes to EBC, and safety/health/wellness checks along the entire way.
The company includes the National Park admission fee and required permits in the overall upfront cost, which is conveniently handled by the guide along the way. Luckily, the “off season” meant smaller crowd sizes and clearer weather, although colder than other months. I will always remember & recommend this group, our trek was perfect!

I can highly recommend Footprints adventure company to anyone planning a trek in Nepal!
I did two trekkings with them in November 2025, Annapurna circuit trekking and then Annapurna base camp trek. My guide in both of them was Shantiee 🥰 who
made the whole experience excellent !
Her local expertise and passion for the mountains made this treks for me truly unforgettable. She was super attentive to our needs, making sure we were all the time safe , healthy and comfortable. Her passion for mountains and nature is contagious! ❤️‍🔥
From the beginning to the end ( 3 weeks) everything was very well organized and went smooth with no problems.
10/10 would trek again with Shantiee and Footprints adventure!
And in 2026 I hope to do so and repeat such a good experience I had with them , but this time in Everest region.

Nov 2 2025, i went EBC with footprint, organiser : sharan he is kind person helping details about ebc when ever u ping him he will respond back. Wonderful guy he arranged all the facilities.
Guide ganesh ; So Energy and funny guy he made entire trip fun and full of happiness, with out him we experience body pain, due to him laughing lot, not feeling we walking lot.
Ast guide Suresh: quite and carring guy, entire trekking he spoke less words, bt u take care arranging food all the things.
Porter's: they are sweet and kind hearted and they are too strong

Conclusion:
EBC completed, legs broken, heart happy!

We did the Manaslu Trek in Nepal with Footprint, and the entire experience was absolutely outstanding. Everything was perfectly organized, and we felt incredibly comfortable and well taken care of at all times. A very special thank-you goes to our guide LX and our porter Sunil. Their service was not only highly professional but also great fun.

The whole Footprint team—from management to the airport transfer driver and porters—is extremely kind, helpful, funny, and professional. We barely had to take care of anything ourselves; everything was arranged for us. We’re genuinely happy that we chose to do this trip with Footprint, and especially with LX as our guide. It was worth every single dollar, and there is absolutely nothing to complain about—at least nothing that would have been within Footprint’s responsibility!

Of course, such a trek is physically demanding—especially because of the altitude—and accommodations are not known for comfort. That should be clear to anyone considering the route. But our guide always looked after our wellbeing and made sure we had the best possible places to sleep. With so many trekkers on the trail, that certainly wasn’t easy. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The trekking experience was truly amazing and incredibly memorable. I felt safe, well taken care of, and fully supported throughout the journey. Today I finished the trek to Everest Base Camp and I was part of a great team from Footprint Adventure: Suresh and Sandip, without them I wouldn't have made it.
Each day was planned according to the itinerary given from the beginning, in addition, each Lodge was enjoyable as well as the food.
It has definitely been an excellent experience to have chosen this agency and I would do it again.
