Langtang valley is a narrow valley, nestled between the awesome Himalayan range and several snowy peaks, offering you awesome views of amazing Himalayas. It is a short trek popular for both exploring Himalayas as well as a unique blend of the culture of especially of Tamang, including of various other indigenous communities like Hyolmo, Tamang, Sherpa, Bhutia, whose religious and cultural practices including languages and dress have the close affinity to those of Tibet.

Langtang valley is located to approximately 130 km to the north of Kathmandu valley, close to Tibet border. The Langtang valley trek is one of the shortest trekking trips. Langtang valley trek mostly revolves around the Langtang valley, a narrow and mountain valley which is nestled between the main Himalayan range to the north, bordering Tibet and a slightly lower range of snowy peaks to the south, offering you an amazing experience. The Himalayan sceneries, you will have from here is of mighty peak Langtang Lirung (7,246 m), which is the highest peaks in the areas, located just to the north from Langtang valley. From the valley, you will also see non-stop sceneries of other smaller peaks filled with snow –namely are Ganjala Pass (5,122 m), Gang Chhenpo (6,388 m), Naya Kangri (5,846 m), Dorge Lakpa (6,989 m), Chimse Danda (ridge), Jugal Himal and so forth.

During the Langtang valley trek, you will pass through Langtang National Park, Nepal’s first national park officially established in 1976, which is the home of various endangered species of flora and fauna including that of the red panda, Himalayan black bear, snow leopard, wild dog, Ghoral. It is also said that more than 250 species of endangered birds and various endangered species of plants and flower, and this trek also can best suit to the nature lover travellers apart from the anthropologists, sociologists, and geographers. During the trek, you will also travel around the ancient Buddhist monastery namely the Kyanjin Gompa, which is located at the heart of Langtang valley, you will equally explore around the upper valley, especially the Langshisa and beyond, pass through beautiful villages of aforementioned diverse ethnic groups, terraced farmland, steamy forest filled with pine, bamboo and rhododendron flower, also traverse through yak pastures and awesome hillside which offers you dazzling views of incredible landscapes and of Himalayas stretching up to the Tibetan border.

Before starting Langtang valley trek, you will have a complete tour in and around Kathmandu valley, where you will explore the world’s cultural and religious heritage sites namely Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Shoyambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, and Changunarayan. After exploring all around, you will have one day drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubensi. From Syabrubensi you will begin your actual trekking, from there you will continue trekking through larch and rhododendron forests and filled with wildflowers and birds, and then reach Lama Hotel. Next day, you will ascend up to the hillside and continue trekking and then reach at Langtang valley and then explore all around, especially, you will visit the Kyanjin Ri (4773m) located right above Kyanjing Gompas, from where you will have range of non-stop Himalayan views and awesome landscapes and after exploring all around, you will retrace down to Kyanjin Gompa where you will traverse around the Chorka Ri or Tsergo Ri (5,050 m) and then back to the Kyanjin Gompa, next day, you will retrace down to Lama Hotel and finally get back to Syabrubensi, where you will catch the public bus and return back to Kathmandu.

High Altitute Sickness-
Langtang Valley Trek  would be life time memory in your life. If you are not fit we will not recommend to do this trekking. While you are going toward the high place, you may have high altitude problem so  you  drink lot of liquid, Ginger soup  good for high altitude, we will recommend diamox medicine for high altitude. If you have other serious problem you have to admit the hospital soon in this case you call the helicopter for rescue and our staff will help to you for your treatment. If you haven medical insurance the rescue helicopter payment will be cover by the insurance company so medical insurance is necessary to go this trekking.

Trekking Grade -
Langtang Valley Trek is pretty long trek that goes right into high mountain country so; it is physically quite strenuous which involves approx 5-6 hours trekking along the way. There is no previous experience is required, used to some regular exercise and enjoy walking in the high altitude conditions.

The Langtang Valley Trek  best season  start  from mid September till November end and from the beginning of March until end of May. The morning time  usually clear, with clouds building up during the afternoon, & disappearing at night. Trekking during the monsoon and winter is also possible.

We will provide freshly cooked food from the local guest house or restaurant. You will have breakfast and dinner at the lodge and lunch available along the trail. You can find a wide variety of Nepali and Western food as well as drinks.

Langtang Valley Trek  start your transfort from your Kathmandu airport  to  Hotel then Kathmandu Hotel to Syabrubeshi and  Syabru Besi to kathmandu  by jeep or by public bus.

Telephone and Internet-
There is few places available for Telephone and Internet. You can get internet password from the hotel counter for telephone and internet cost would be extra.

Most of the lodges/ guest house take an additional charge for battery charging. There is no electricity in the Langtang Region. There is electricity or solar power where you can re- charges your camera batteries,laptop, mobile etc. that cost you need to pay extra.

Drinking Water-
The bottle water is available along the trail until the last village. You can take buy boil water from the lodge or restaurant or you can use Iodine or water purifying medicines.

Luggage -
In Kathmandu you will get 4 to 5 star  standard Hotel or resort accommodation. During the trekking part,  rooms will be basic, normally just a bed with a pillow and blankets. You will have a private room but bathroom will be outside. There are some guest houses with attach bathroom as well as but they will cost extra.

Group Leader and Crew-
We promise we will provide Trained Experienced with honest with local Trekking Guide  and Sherpa staff when there are 8 or more members in the Group and porters to carry your luggage and there will be 1 porter for 2 members.

Trekking Equipments-
It's not necessary to spend a lot of money for extra equipment and clothing before your trip. Majority of these gears can be bought at reasonable rates in Kathmandu.

Trekkking Days-
The time schedule is very important for enjoy trip with among the Guide porters and trekkers Each morning after packing our bags and hot breakfast, we set off on the day’s walk. After walking for 3-4 hours we stop for lunch at around midday. The afternoon’s walk .  The remainder of the afternoon can be spent exploring the village, doing a bit of washing or simply relaxing with a good book. On some days we will arrive at our destination by lunchtime and the entire afternoon will be free.
