Finally, Nepal is ready to welcome tourists from all over the world for trekking and other outdoor adventures. With this new approach in place, we're hopeful that more travelers will return to Nepal, which is great news for anyone yearning for a new mountainous thrill.

As per the decision of the Government ( Council of Ministers) dated 10-June-2022, it has been published for the prevention of infection of COVID-19 new variant as well as for the information of all concerned as the following arrangements have been made regarding the travelers entering Nepal by air or land route. 

Protocol for Fully Vaccinated Travelers

If you are fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 pandemic, no longer require a negative Covid test report for flying to Nepal. But make sure that you must submit a full vaccination certificate against the covid-19 pandemic. This rule applies to all travelers entering from both air and land routes. 

Protocol for Non-Vaccinated Travelers 

Travelers who are not fully vaccinated against covid-19 and who failed to submit the vaccination certificate will have to submit the certificate of negative covid-19 test report (RT-PCR, True NAAT, and Gene Xpert) within 72 hours of starting the journey. Similarly, travelers who have negative covid test reports are no longer required to stay in quarantine. 

Resumption of Visa-On-Arrival in Nepal 

From today, the on-arrival visa has resumed for all travelers with fully vaccinated, vaccinated, and person with covid-19 test negative report. Once you submit all the necessary documents to the airport or land entry point, you can get the visa on arrival easily.
