Latest Trip Review

This was an adventure that was on my bucket list, and I can't say enough good things about the team leader, Abhishek, and the rest of his team since they surpassed all of my expectations. The trek staff as well as the porters were really supportive and helpful during the journey. The walk in and of itself was difficult, but it was also highly memorable due to the landscape, the animals, the herds of yaks and mules that shared the trail, and the large variety of the 16 people that participated in the trek and formed new connections with people from all over the world. We did face some difficulties with altitude sickness, ranging from quite moderate to pretty severe, which Ram and his crew dealt with in a careful and concerned manner. In my opinion, it was an amazing and once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, but only if you don't make the effort to return.
For a beautiful Himalayan trekking experience, I would strongly recommend the Gokyo Lakes and Everest Base Camp trek, and in particular, I would recommend Abhishek and his team.

Dipak was our guide for the amazing trek to Upper Mustang. We were welcomed warmly and given help.  When my boyfriend and I got to Nepal, he gave us beautiful flower garlands to welcome us.  We got to know each other over a cup of Nepalese tea, and Dipak was able to understand our needs and set up a perfect tour for us. Dipak turned out to be a friendly and knowledgeable guide who made the trip special.  Dipak knows a lot about the area, so he took us on a route where history and nature came together. We went up to an altitude of 3840m in Upper Mustang to enjoy the beauty of this area near the border with Tibet. We drove a jeep for a long time and went to many different small villages where we met people and spent time with them.
We ended our trip in Kathmandu and on the last day, Dipak and the team set up a dinner at a local restaurant for us all to meet up with him again.  We had a good time in Nepal, and we'll definitely do more projects with Nepal. Extremely happy with the arrangements of the Footprint Adventure Team.

The Annapurna Circuit Trel is characterized by its breathtaking scenery and rich variety. Every day had its own unique character. Anybody who enjoys going for walks should go there, in my opinion.  The company, Footprint Adventure, was of the highest caliber. They were incredibly kind in allowing me to add on the Mardi Himal trip after the fact, and they had no issues arranging everything at the eleventh hour (I booked only a couple of days before flying out). The trek is completed by a number of firms not long after the Pass; nonetheless, I appreciated that Footprint Adventure continued on to destinations such as Tatopani and Poon Hill.
Dipak, my guide, was amazing. Outside of hiking hours, he was a lot of fun and had a lot of knowledge about the mountains and geography in the area. Acclimatization to the high altitude was something that he focused a lot of effort on. At mealtimes, my porter, Raju, was quite attentive and gave me the impression that I was being properly taken care of.

I had a wonderful time participating in Gosaikunda Heli Tour with Footprint Team. My good buddy Sharan has taken care of everything despite the really short notice. You will discover that their service is superior to that of others. The most interesting portion was when they went into the details. I will book more tours with this team again. They have really nice management. 

Great experience of a life time with our awesome guide Ganesh & our porter Zere. Ganesh was very attentive to our needs made sure we were comfortable at all times. He was funny charming & very hospitable.I got the flu with high fever while hiking which made the hike at higher altitude extremely difficult. That forced me to end the hike at Lobuche @ 5030 meters thus triggering an airlift. Ganesh & Zere made the evacuation seamless. Ganesh stayed with us during the entire transition up until I was discharged from hospital in Kathmandu & back to airport for our returned flight home. Kudos to Ganesh & Zere.

Just to say that everyone once in a live time have to try something like reaching Everest Base Camp. We don't have words to describe how Ganesh (our guide) and our porter Shere did for us. Their support, explanations and willing to help were awesome. In fact, one of the members of the expedition suffered AMS (Altitud Mountain Sickness) at 5030 meters high. We were evacuated in a heli and Ganesh was with us in the hospital during two days!!, totally out of his duties... that shows the kind of person that Ganesh is and the end to end group responsibility.We learnt many things about Nepal, The Himalayas and their culture... all thanks to Ganesh.He is a very funny guy, we shared many laughs and many unforgotable moments...If you chose Footprint Adventures as a confident company for your trekking... you will not regret!!! Footprint helps my solo trip with everything possible. Madhav with the itienary and plans, Ganesh that welcomes me and then accompany me for everything in Kathmandu. And then this young man Nabaraj that makes my EBC hike possible even my fitness is not the best, he already told me about altitude sickness when we hike too fast but because the window is short I Insisted (even he help carry my pack when im tired) and then the sickness happen in Pangboche, nabaraj keep caring for me even have a hard sleep himself.We still proceed and finish as I wanted.Thank you so much Footprint especially Nabaraj he is very nice and helpful guide just give him some time to increase his english and technical knowledge and then he is just the perfect guide everyone needs!Read less
