Absolutely loved the Langtang Valley Trek!

I chose this trek because I really wanted to experience the Himalayas, but I didn’t have much time so the 6-day itinerary was perfect for me and my partner.
From day one, everything felt smooth and well-organised. The trekking plan was thoughtfully adjusted to fit our timeframe without skipping any key highlights. Upon arriving in Kathmandu, we were warmly greeted at the airport by a company representative and invited to a traditional welcome dinner :)!

GUDIE:
Our guide Sharan, was certified, fluent in English, and always there with support or local insight whenever we needed it. And then there was Mingu, our porter, who didn’t just carry our bags he lifted our spirits every time the trail got tough. Thanks to them, what could have been a challenging trek turned into an unforgettable and meaningful experience.

SAFETY:
As we hiked, we saw other groups, and it was clear that Footprint Adventure stood out. They had a strong focus on safety: our guide carried an oxygen bottle in case of emergency, and each evening he measured our blood oxygen levels to ensure we were fit to continue. In a remote setting like this, that kind of care makes all the difference and it made the whole adventure feel a lot safer.

TREKKING:
The Langtang Valley itself was breathtaking: peaceful, uncrowded, and full of wildlife. We saw two types of monkeys, Himalayan thars, yaks, and so much more. The local people of Langtang were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The absolute highlight of the trek was reaching the summit of Tserko Ri - an experience I truly can’t recommend enough.

I can highly recommend footprint! This review is for a 15days EBC trek.

Three things I would like to highlight:

1. Very high service level and professionalism.
From the process of the booking, support in advance of the trek, to arrival in Nepal and to our brilliant guide, Shanti and Sherpa Ajun. The people around the trek made it a blast. Plus I felt safe throughout the trip.

2. Eco-tourism.
They have a strong focus on sustainable travelling - ensuring we also have an Everest to climb in the future. Strong focus on recycling and keep the footprint of our tour as low as possible. Love all the initiatives taken on this matter.

3. Experienced staff.
The whole trip was planned so we stayed at the best treehouses possible, ensuring proper foot, well connected to the Sherpa environment and the airlines companies, etc. it helped a lot to ensure a seamless experience.

I would any day book with footprint again and trust them in managing my experience.

We were very lucky to have choosen Footprint as our tour company while trekking to Mount Everest Base camp, our guide Shanti was the best, she went above and beyond our expectations.
Kudos to footprint as they have created a team that truly takes care of everything.
During our time in Kathmandu they took us on a city tour that showcases the beauty of Nepal and also the Welcome dinner was faboulous.
We kept crossing things off our bucket list as they also upgrade us for free to a helicopter ride from kathmandu to Lukla.
My wife and I cant wait to visit Nepal again.

I came across Footprints Adventure through Instagram and we enroll ourselves with them for ABC trek. People at Footprints are very freindly and professional. We had an amazing expierence with Shantiee (our trek guide, leader,freind,motivator all in one). She led us with such warmth and affection to the base camp. She didn't feel like a guide but we found a freind in her.

Sharan Kharki at the Office was also very helpful and professional while booking the trip.

Would highly recommend trekking in Nepal with Footprints Adventures for great service,amazing memories and having freinds for life.

I decided to book with Footprint Adventure for Annapurna Circuit and it was a great experience. They made the entire trip so easy and everything ran very smooth. My guide San Dip was amazing and was the main reason I enjoyed my trip so much. I asked him millions of questions over the 12 days and he had an answer for everything. I met lots of other hikers on the trek who all mentioned how amazing San Dip was. I truely believe he was the best guide on the trek and if you decide to book with footprint request him!!

I had an excellent experience trekking to Everest Base Camp with the support of Footprint Adventure.

From the very beginning, everything was handled professionally. The team gave me a warm welcome in Kathmandu, and throughout the journey, they were polite, helpful, and very flexible. Midway through the trek, I decided to shorten the itinerary by two days, and the agency fully understood my needs. They quickly adapted the plan and even managed to reschedule my return flight earlier — which made a big difference and showed great customer service.

A special mention to my guide, Magarchhiring – an outstanding professional. He was kind, friendly, and always attentive to my well-being. He did an excellent job guiding me along the trail and was also a great person to talk to during the trek, making the experience even more enjoyable. He fully supported my decision to adjust the schedule, with no hesitation.

I highly recommend Footprint Adventure and Magarchhiring to anyone looking for a safe, well-organized, and human-centered trekking experience in the Himalayas. It was truly worth it!
