Latest Trip Review

I recently completed the 15 days Kailash Mansarovar yatra, and it was one of the most spiritual and unforgettable experiences of my life. The journey was very well organized, with a perfect balance of advantage, devotion, and natural beauty.

We started our trip in Kathmandu, where we visited sacred temples like Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, and Patan Durbar Square. The drive from Kathmandu and then across the border to Kerung was scenic and comfortable. The team made sure we had enough time to rest and adjust to the high altitude.

As we continued towards the sage and Lake Mansarovar, the view of the mountains and vast Tibetan plateau was breathtaking. Reaching the holy Lake Mansarovar was a deeply emotional moment.

The most challenging but rewarding part was Kailash Kora. The first day to Dirapuk offered stunning close up views of Mount Kailash. The second day, crossing Dolma La Pass, was tough due to altitude, but with the support of our guides and team, we completed it safely and proudly. The final day of the trek brought us back to Darchen, completing the holy circuit. The return journey through Kerung back to Kathmandu was smoothly and enjoyable. Throughout the trip, the organizers took great care of accommodation, food, and transportation. The guides were kind, supportive, and experienced in handling high altitude conditions.

Overall, the 15 days Kailash Mansarovar Yatra was a life changing spiritual adventure. Highly recommend this trip to anyone seeking a sacred and unforgettable pilgrimage experience.

As someone attempting my first 8000-meter peak, I was nervous. But the way Footprint Adventure organized everything—from permits to base camp training—gave me complete confidence. The guides were knowledgeable and patient, especially during technical training and fixed rope practice at base camp. I really appreciated the daily weather updates and one-on-one Sherpa support throughout the climb.

Even the small things like personalized care, extra sleeping mats, and warm drinks after hard climbs made a big difference. The summit push was tough but unforgettable—we left at midnight from Camp IV and made it to the top just after sunrise. Standing on Manaslu, I felt both humbled and empowered.

We just returned from our Basecamp Trek (April 20th-May 3rd)
A 10/10 experience, and absolute must-go recommendation for anybody considering the Base Camp Everest Trek. Be sure to book with Footprint Adventure, as they handle any and all logistics surrounding the trip. As soon as we landed in Kathmandu and our guide picked us up at 2 am from the airport, we knew we were in good hands. Footprint took care of everything- hotel bookings, meals, teahouse arrangements, visa payments, and were very knowledgeable and able to answer any of our questions during the two week adventure.

Be sure to request Ganesh as a guide. He is utterly hilarious, personable, and made our group feel safe and secure during our exploration of unfamiliar territory. He and our porter, Onish deserve raises. We were able to tour Kathmandu with them after our journey and loved the overall experience so much that we plan on returning for a different trek in the future.

If you are hesitating on pulling the trigger, do yourself a favor and book this journey. Make the sacrifices needed during your regular work weeks to fit this into your schedule this year. You will thank yourself later.

We went on the Mohare Danda trek. The route is exceptionally beautiful with a view of the lake in Pokhara, through rhododendron rainforests and magnificent sights of the mountain ranges.

As a first-time trekker, the Tsum Valley Trek with Footprint Adventure was an unforgettable experience. The hospitality was exceptional—our guide Ashish and the porters made sure we were always comfortable, with warm tea and a smile during every break. The local villages were beautiful, and the people were incredibly welcoming. The trek itself was challenging but manageable, with stunning mountain views. Footprint Adventure took care of all the details, allowing me to enjoy every moment. Highly recommended for beginners looking for a mix of adventure and great hospitality!
