We just returned from a Seven-day tour of Bhutan with the Footprint Adventure. First, Bhutan is a truly fascinating country with an amazing culture and natural beauty. We were overwhelmed by the incredible things we experienced every day on the tour. Our experience with the tour operator was great. They were attentive, informative, and very communicative from the very beginning.

I can not express enough our gratitude for their services, their kindness, their knowledge, and their effort to make this trip so memorable. Our guide was incredibly informative and during the tour and particularly knowledgeable about Buddhism. We’ve learned a lot about the history, culture, and religion of Bhutan.

 There was not a single dull moment during our trip. Thank you, Footprint Adventure team, for a fabulous tour. We are looking forward to meeting you again in the future.

This was my third time travelling with footprint adventure and what can I say - there‘s a reason why we pick this company over and over again, this time for Mardi Himal. I feel comfortable on every step along the journey. They take care of you, your wishes and always create unforgettable memories for me and my family. Many thanks to the amazing team: Ashish, the most professional yoga guide who will help you to learn so much about yourself, Raj, the strongest man of the group with the best smile, Sandip, such a talented photographer and kind soul, and Madhav, thank you for organising everything so we could turn off our brains. Ashmita - you’re the sweetest, such a pleasure to meet another member of the footprint family! 🫶At the end of each trek we are already planning the next one, you guys know you won’t get rid of us. 😉

We did the Annapurna Circuit Trek (with Tilicho Lake) and it was an experience beyond words, especially for someone coming from Greece! From the welcoming villages of Chame and Manang, which felt like discovering hidden mountain villages back home, to the awe-inspiring Tilicho Lake and the famous Thorong La Pass at 5,416 m, every day was filled with beauty, culture, and challenge. Our guidance throughout the trek was very helpful, friendly, and always looking out for us. It was incredible to spot rare blue sheep along the way and to feel the magic of reaching the high pass, almost like standing on Mount Olympus itself! This trek is demanding, but absolutely worth it for anyone who loves mountains and adventure. As a Greek, I felt a unique connection to the high peaks and spiritual energy of the Himalayas. Highly recommended for fellow travelers looking for an unforgettable, life-changing journey!

In October we started the (actually third) trek with Footprint to see Machapuchare aka Mount Fishtail. Footprint took care of us from the very beginning as concerns pick up from the airport, best hotels, providing us with equipment, in general looking after us every single second. We learned a lot from Ashish, our yoga guide, had yoga/meditation/singing bowl sessions twice a day, even an extremely overwhelming meditation on 4000m in the rising sun, right after reaching the view point of Machapuchare. Also Ashish has great knowledge of mountain life and we could always trust his assessment of the situation.

Raj, our calm, friendly and strong porter took care of our bags, you are really Mr Universe, thank you for that.

I am so happy to have been with my new dear friends, Ashmita, my "adopted daughter", Sun Dip always staying by my side and last but not least Madhav, always caring and making sure we have the best memories ever - thank you dear Maddy!
Long story short: Best travel agency and Mardi Himal Yoga Trek with Footprint Adventure!

Booked the Langtang Valley and Gosaikunda trek with Footprint for October 2024, from the outset their service, planning and communication were excellent. Sharan was my point of contact from the start, his communication throughout the whole planning, booking and waiting experience can’t be faulted responding promptly to all questions and making any changes to my itinerary was easy and seamless.

On arriving in Kathmandu (at 10:30pm!!) I was met at the airport by Ganesh and his wife and was made to feel welcome from the start. Ganesh also met me at my hotel the following morning for a walk to Footprint’s office for the trek briefing helping me along the way organising local currency and SIM card. The first day also included a Kathmandu tour with Prakhash as my guide; Prakhash was excellent, his knowledge of the 4 UNESCO sites was fantastic and it was a pleasure having him show me around Kathmandu.

For the trek itself, my team of guide Ashish and porter Raz were the perfect pairing. Ashish seemed to know from the outset what I needed from this trek without being told and shared volumes of information while giving me plenty of space to be alone to observe, absorb and digest the beauty that is Nepal. Several days included sound healing, meditation and a massage for weary muscles, an over and above that was greatly appreciated. Raz as my porter was incredible with his energy, stamina and ready smile giving me added strength during tough parts of the trek. Both Ashish and Raz are beautiful human beings, I am lucky to have met them and could not have completed the trek without either of them.

I want to say a massive thank you to Footprint Adventure, this was my first solo trekking holiday, will have no hesitation in using them for my next trek and will recommend to everyone.

The experience has been top-notch. Everything was well organized and felt safe from the moment you start planning. Communication is always quick and clear- they answer all questions, no matter how small, and even during the trek, they’re always available if you needed if you need anything.

The team was amazing. The whole trip was so amazing felt safe at all times, not just the summit day but throughout the whole trip.

If you’re thinking of doing a climb or trek in Nepal, I’d definitely recommend Footprint Adventure.

We had a wonderful 5 day tour in Zanzibar with Footprint Adventure. From start to finish, everything was well organized and ran smoothly. The team was fantastic, very easy to communicate with, always polite, on time, and ready to help with anything we needed. They were quick to respond to our questions and made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. Thanks to them, our Zanzibar tour was truly amazing and memorable. Our team summited Mt Kilimanjaro via the 10 days Lemosho route just in time for an incredible sunrise. I cannot say enough good things about Footprint Adventure. They went above and beyond from start to finish. Sharan was our initial point of contact and booked everything for us. He was contactable throughout to answer any questions we had. Our guide and his team were kind, courteous, and professional throughout. We were blown away by the level of support that was provided to get us to the top. Truly an amazing experience with Footprint Adventure and their team. Highly recommended!!!
