  • Great Service at Every Step, worth the Luxury Package

    Steven.K, February 23, 2023

From the initial preparation and planning phase with Sharan to the actual treks to Everest Base Camp and back, Footprint Adventure delivered excellent service. Our lovely and knowledgeable Guide Ashish and the firm took care of every little aspect. The entire time, we got genuine white-glove service, and our guide took fantastic care of us by making sure our lodgings were suitable and we always had access to delicious meals. The company managed ALL the logistics and technicalities around our nightly lodging, meals, general health, local flights, park admission fees, etc. after the airlines caused our bags to be delayed during our walk. People frequently inquired about Footprint Adventure from us along the Trek after noticing how kind and attentive our guide and porter were.
As an example, our guide would often be the first person in the tea house to awaken once I realized I was always waking up early so he could get me coffee as soon as the kitchen was open. That was definitely over the top!
On the vacation, my son became a little ill, and our guide immediately acted, giving the kitchen instructions on what to prepare to make him feel better and always putting his health and safety first as he recovered.
The accommodations were always the best available, making the Luxury Package a great value. The Welcome and Farewell dinners were lovely and a wonderful way to get to know other trekkers and the staff at Footprint Adventure.
I honestly can't say enough good things about this organization because I didn't have a single issue or complaint the entire time! This tour organization and its guides are highly recommended for this once-in-a-lifetime event!

Amazing experience of the Thorong La Pass trek

    Luca, February 19, 2023

I am currently traveling around the world, and Nepal was one of the places I visited. So, after reading some good reviews on a travel blog, I decided to book the 15-day Annapurna Circuit Trek with Footprint Adventure in advance.
What do you think? From the beginning to the end, Mr. Sharan and his team did a great job of putting things together. He picked me up at the airport, drove me to the hotel, and took me to the bus station the next morning. The trek with Ganesh as my guide was great. He was very helpful and stood by me in everything the whole time. But he also spoke English very well and could tell me a lot about Nepal's culture and history. So we had a great 15 days together, and on my birthday, we celebrated on Thorong-La pass. But he helped me a lot with a few things in Kathmandu even after the hike.
So, if you decide to do a guided trek, which I highly recommend if you want to be safe and learn something about Nepal, you should book it with Footprint Adventure. Will definitely go on another trip. Thank you a lot!

Excellent Experience, by far my best dollar's worth

    Gigi, February 15, 2023

I booked my Annapurna Base Camp trek through WhatsApp with Sharan. He was so friendly and helpful right away, and he helped me set up everything. When I got to Nepal, the team met me at the airport, and the hotel, breakfast, and transportation to Pokhara were already set up. As well, all trekking passes were already set up. Sharan  told me everything about the journey and what it included, and he also gave me ideas for how to spend my time in Nepal. My trekking guide, Khilraj, was so kind and knew a lot about the area. He always made sure I was taken care of and feeling good, and he was very good at keeping track of time so that we left and got to each place on time. He always made sure I was okay and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable on the trek. The guides carry so much medicine that they can help you if you get sick. As a 21-year-old woman who traveled alone, I always felt safe. I have Khilraj, Sharan, and the rest of the Footprint Adventure team to thank for that. Without them, my trip would not have been the same. The Annapurna base camp was an amazing experience that I will remember for the rest of my life.

The BEST Solo trek to EBC with Footprint Team and Dipak- Truly a trip of a lifetime

    Kelly.E, January 14, 2023

If you're planning to do a trek in Nepal, Footprint is the way to go! I recently completed the Everest Base Camp Trek with them and had the most amazing experience. As a solo female traveler, I wanted to make sure to use a reputable company that I felt comfortable with and Footprint far exceeded all of my expectations. They were extremely professional and quick to respond to any of the questions I had before the trip. Everything was so organized, from airport pickup/ drop off to the daily itinerary of the trek itself. My guide, Dipak, was also amazing! He truly went above and beyond to make sure that I had the trip of a lifetime. He was so knowledgeable about the region and about high altitude trekking in general. I felt extremely taken care of the entire time and also felt like I had a new best friend! He offered to help take photos and videos throughout the trek, which was amazing and even put together daily videos of each days highlights. I was able to truly just take the whole experience in. I hope to be able to do another trek with Footprint and Dipak in the future!

Best Trek to Poon Hill with Ganesh

    Mederit . P, January 10, 2023

Ganesh was a great trekking guide. He was very flexible when I needed to change my start date and was willing to meet me in Pokhara instead of Kathmandu so I wouldn't have to make that 10-hour drive twice. He talked to us well and told us everything we would be doing. He was also very knowledgeable. I was there in the winter, which is not peak season, so many of the guest houses were closed. On the other hand, we didn't have to wait hours to get food, so there are pros and cons. The best part of the Poon Hill trek was the sunrise hike to Poon Hill, which gave great views of the Annapurna range. I don't like sunrise hikes, but I'll admit that this one was worth it. I didn't think there would be so many steps on hikes in the Himalayas, but it sounds like almost all of the hikes have steps instead of natural paths. That would be my only complaint. Ganesh even went into the kitchen of one of the restaurants when the man's wife, who was the cook, was out of the house and made us momos. I would absolutely suggest it.

Everest Base Camp - Amazing experience with Footprint Adventure

    Zsolt Gyenge, January 08, 2023

Climbing to EBC was my dream therefore after Covid lockdown I started searching on the internet for local Nepali companies (nobody knows better how to arrange things thanks locals, right?). Footprint Adventure was the most professional and quicker in answering all my queries be it email or whatsapp therefore I booked the trip with them. To be honest I couldn't have done a better choice when choosing the company. Everything was perfect starting with airport pickup, nice guided city tour in Kathmandu, flight to Lukla and then of course the entire experience on the mountain. We were a group of 3 and we had our own guide, Lok, and two porters, Kamal and Suresh. They were supporting in every matter. Made sure we eat and hydrate enough, that we had the proper pace, we take rest when needed and even carried the small backpack of the girls when they got tired. The accomodation and food was the best you could get in the villages and the entire trip was a success. I highly recommand Footprint adventure. You will not regret!!

    Second Trek with Footprint Adventure

    Samuel. B, January 02, 2023

In December 2022, I went on my second trek with Footprint Adventure. As with the last one, it was very easy to plan and book with Sharan. All of my questions were answered quickly when I sent an e-mail. Since I had already trekked to Everest Base Camp, I chose the less crowded Langtang valley this time. Footprint Adventure made a custom 8-day trek (plus 2 days of driving) in the Langtang valley that included Gosaikunda lake.
My trekking guide Deepak and my porter Chhiring were both friendly and spoke good English. My tour guide seemed to know a lot about the area and made some small changes to the plan on the spot (like staying at another village when we arrived at our planned destination early, to make the next day easier). He always made sure I had the best room possible in every guesthouse, and most of the time I even had my own bathroom. Everywhere on the trek, the food was also very good. I had trekked in Nepal before, in October, and I was worried that it would be very cold in December. Now that I've done the trek, I can say that I didn't need to worry about those things. I didn't feel at all like it was colder than it was in October. Even in October, it was cold at night and early in the morning before the sun came up. When the sun came out, it was always pretty warm, so I had to quickly take off some of my layers. Aside from the last few hundred meters before the trek's highest point, there was no snow. This was also the hardest part because the path was very icy, but it could be done. The rest of the trek wasn't hard for me from a technical point of view. You will be fine if you have been hiking in the mountains before.
Sharan and Footprint Adventure are the best people to go trekking within Nepal, and I will definitely use them again the next time I go there.
