Latest Trip Review

I coordinated the Gokyo Lake and Everest Base Camp Trek with Madhav from Footprint Adventure. Footprint was the one firm that provided me with the greatest and most comprehensive service for a very reasonable price after I visited and researched three different travel companies. The two-week Trek itself was a very magnificent and life-altering experience. The incredible nature and elevations, the experience of the local Sherpa community from close, the witty and correctly English speaking trekking guide; it all amounted to one the most memorable experiences of my life.

In December 2019 I had the chance of climbing Mera Peak, normally such experiences are hard to plan, but I was lucky enough to talk to Madhav, who was fully available to reply to all of my questions anytime. 
Madhav is fully engaged with his work and is always available to help us anyway before, during, and after the climbing.  He will give you the entire confidence that every detail will be thought of so that your trip becomes as comfortable as possible. We meet Neema, a friendly and experienced climbing guide from Lukla, who motivate us to push up to the summit of Mera. 
As I was on a Gap year trip I had no climbing gear at all, even that was arranged by Footprint Team. For the trekking and amazing adventure activity, I highly recommend this team for your assistance.

Our questions were quickly answered by Sharan, who also made excellent travel arrangements. He paid attention to our wishes, and the lodges where we stayed for the 14 days were excellent.
Our guide, Asis, met us at the airport when we arrived. He took fantastic care of us right away. Often assessing our comfort with the altitude, the number of hours spent trekking, the food we consumed, etc. He was particular about what we ordered for our meals, which we appreciated because we needed enough carbs to last the entire day and he knew we would need energy for the hours of trekking. He shared his knowledge of the many mountains, yoga cultures, and other topics with us throughout the route, which was incredibly fascinating. He prioritizes us above all else, assuring our security and comfort. For instance, he will give us food and drinks before he receives his own. When to push us and when to stop, he is aware of it. We wouldn't have arrived at EBC during the winter without his assistance. And more thanks for helping us to do Yoga in the mountans.

The view was breathtaking, but the entire trek was difficult and exhausting. We appreciate having a clear view of all the mountains, including Everest, as we traveled. Although though winter might be brutally cold, most days have clear skies.

I would like to express my appreciation to guide Ganesh. I could not meet a better guide ever in my adventure journey. He is really supportive and very attentive during the trek. He watches me always your condition, which is very important in the mountains. He is super motivating, funny, and knowledgable about the trekking trails and people.

Sometimes when you think you can’t go anymore, he gives advice about some techniques. He even watches if your head and throat are covered. When I met other guides and saw how they behaved with their guest, I thought that I had the best guide ever. Thankful to the Footprint team for the entire journey. I will come back to Nepal soon for the Everest Base Camp trek.

When we came in Kathmandu we were supposed to be picked up by a staff of the company, but instead we were waiting there for 2 or 3 hours because they mixed up our flight schedule. Later they came and drove us to the hotel.
The trek itself was amazing. Our guide Sharan arranged everything, so we were completly carefree. We are really grateful that he was so flexible with our wishes. Even if we had some problems with altitude sickness we did an unforgettable trek! Thanks for this experience!

Company owner Madhav was a wonderful person. When I write a message via AIM or via Instagram Whatsapear replied instantly. They helped in the organization of stages in any respect. About eating and drinking during the tour so they helped, they remembered where I forgot to drink water. Our guide was very informed. We always kept on hand and were greeted on our health in the best way.
