The trail began from the 3hr drive from Pokhara to Tikhedhunga and hike to Ulleri village. The trail passed through the lush green forests, river, and traditional villages before reaching the Ghorepani. The trail starts from the short drive to Dhampus village, a beautiful traditional village with majestic views of mountains and beautiful landscapes. Furthermore, the trail passes through the lush green rhododendron forest, oak, and pine at lower elevations. After reaching the forest camp, the trail becomes steeper as you move towards the mountains. Throughout the trail, the iconic Machapuchhre, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli along with Mardi Himal offers the best panoramic views of mountains on the northern side.
